Vice President, Identity & Data Strategy

As the Vice President of Identity & Data Strategy Products focused on Identity Resolution, Data Creation, Methodology, and Quality, you’ll lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for Resonate’s identity and data solutions. You’ll manage cross-functional teams, guiding them from ideation through development and market launch. Close collaboration with Sales and Go-to-Market teams will be essential to driving product success and ensuring that our offerings deliver significant client value. Your expertise in Identity Graphs, AI-driven marketing data, data methodologies, and quality will position Resonate as a trusted partner, empowering clients to harness the full potential of our SaaS, DaaS, and non-guaranteed data products.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Drive product vision, lifecycle and roadmap for new innovative AI-Driven consumer and marketing data.  Define and maintain pricing and packaging of the offerings based on a detailed understanding of the market, Resonates positioning and competition.
  • Identity Graph: Define the vision and strategy for Resonate’s Identity Graph as an enabling product that fuels our client facing solutions.  Continuously assess the quality and scale of Resonate’s Identity Graph and determine initiatives to improve both.
  • Data Quality & Methodology: Define and continuously evolve the vision and strategy for measuring the quality of Resonate’s Data and the methodologies that we’re using to create data and link identities together.  Manage the initiatives defined to monitor, assess and improve Resonate’s methodologies and data quality.
  • 3rd Party Vendor Relationship Management: Manage all 3rd party relationships for ingesting data into Resonate to support all products, our identity graph and modeling methodologies.
  • Product Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, engineering, data science, to design and translate market requirements into well-defined data product features and enhancements. Drive the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch to successful adoption in the marketplace, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality data products.
  • Market Understanding: Understand the market, competitive offerings and how clients use consumer, marketing and identity data to drive value and outcomes for their business.  Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key customer segments, customer pain points, competitors and growth opportunities. Leverage data-driven insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.  Hold a deep understanding of how methodologies for data creation impact what Resonate brings to market and results that our clients get using our data.
  • Data Analytics Expertise: Develop standards and analytics for continuously monitoring and improving the quality of Resonate Data and Identity, working closely with Data Science and Engineering.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide subject matter expertise to the sales and product marketing team, supporting the development of compelling collateral, sales presentations, and product demonstrations. Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's understanding of Resonates products and their value proposition.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for product improvements. Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on leveraging Resonates Data to achieve their objectives.
  • Manage a Cross-Functional Team: In addition to managing Product Managers and Owners directly, partner with other Product Managers, Product Marketing, User Experience, Data Science, Engineering, and QA to execute throughout an agile development process.
  • Commercialization: Commercialize and bring to market your product offerings.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements 

  • 8+ year’s professional experience as a product manager for Identity and consumer data products within an agile development process, with an emphasis on managing and continuously improving data quality and methodologies.
  • Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business, or other related bachelor’s degree
  • Desire to work with clients and prospects to understand their business problems and translate them into high-level product requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of Identity Graphs and how the Marketing Ecosystem uses Identity to deliver value to clients.
  • Deep understanding of data methodologies and analytics to continuously measure quality of data and refine methodologies to adjust to market and client needs and opportunities
  • Proven expertise in developing AI-driven data solutions leveraged in the Consumer Intelligence and MarTech Ecosystem.
  • Strong analysis and numeracy skills. Must enjoy working with data to drive insights and outcomes both to understand your product and to drive roadmap priorities.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with data engineering, machine learning, and AI.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions.
  • Must have entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
