Join our National Sales Team working in partnership with Walmart. This person is responsible for driving profitable long-term sales results through thought leadership, collaboration, and operational excellence. This role primarily focuses on Walmart but also assists with Sam’s Club. This role requires residing in the Northwest Arkansas region.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

  • Drive sales performance at Walmart by impacting key sales drivers including promotion, distribution, shelf strategy and merchandising.
  • Network and build strong relationships with key customer decision-makers and key internal stakeholders.
  • Drive joint accountability with wholesale partners nationwide through alignment, goal-setting, and ongoing connectivity.
  • Responsible for communication and operational success of key customer initiatives including new item launches, shelf resets, and display programs.
  • Monitor and survey markets in collaboration with State Mgrs. and Wholesaler KAM’s to discover actionable opportunities to drive the business.
  • Utilize data insights from multiple sources to identify and implement opportunities for growth.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to capitalize on business trends and ideates on ways to drive the business.
  • Partner with national accounts leadership on streamlining information sharing and ongoing process improvements to enable broader company success.
  • Identify and evaluate business problems, gaps, and roadblocks; design and implement actionable recommendations and track success metrics.
  • Assist with Sam’s Club analytics and inventory management via Madrid

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 21 years of age
  • Must possess current driver’s license and maintain current auto insurance coverage
  • 4 Year College Degree preferred
  • Must reside in Northwest Arkansas
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in Walmart, Sam’s Club or Wine & Spirits industry
  • Walmart Retail Link/Luminate experience preferred
  • Sam’s/Nielsen Madrid experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • Required to successfully pass a background check and drug test
  • Must have the ability to lift 45-55 pounds on a regular basis
  • Flexible hours- May be required to work weekends, tastings, and special events
  • Travel (within the US) is required – Estimated 20%-30% travel as needed per business needs
