2026 Harvest Cellar Intern - Jada Vineyard & Winery

Role Summary:

Jada Vineyard and Winery is looking for part-time and full-time interns for the 2026 harvest season. Interns at Jada have a unique opportunity to have an active role in the crafting of exceptional quality wines. We aim to educate our interns in all aspects of winemaking, while giving them hands-on experience implementing what they learn. We expect our intern to be positive, open minded and willing to learn, have outstanding attention to detail, and able to precisely follow instructions. Internships start as soon as July 2026 and span through December 2026.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

  • Collecting and processing vineyard samples
  • Assisting in receiving and processing fruit, monitoring fermentations, and simple lab analyses (°brix, pH, TA, FSO2)
  • Equipment operation (sorting tables, destemmer, pumps, steam generator, pressure washer)
  • Tank and equipment cleaning and sanitization
  • Conducting punch downs and pump overs.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • Required to lift and move up to 40 lbs, when necessary.
  • Comfortable working long shifts on your feet in a physically demanding environment
  • Capable of safely navigating stairs, ladders, and catwalks
  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency and time management
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • The ideal candidates will have an interest in a career in fine wine production and a desire to be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Some experience in these practices is desired, but not necessary.

About Us:

Jada Vineyard and Winery is in the Willow Creek District of the Paso Robles AVA. We produce small lot, superior quality wines from estate grown grapes with a focus on Rhone and Bordeaux varieties. We combine sustainable and organic farming practices with the use of analytical tools to maximize grape quality in our CCOF organic certified vineyard. Our small winemaking team utilizes both modern and traditional techniques to craft wines of finesse and precision.

Pay Range
