Rockstar is on the lookout for a passionate Associate Production Coordinator to join our Character Art team.
This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s unique game development studio in Oakville, ON.
WHAT WE DO
- The Rockstar Games Art Production team enhances global collaboration across Art, Code, and Design, ensuring efficient communication and transparent workflows for our developers.
- We collaborate with artists, leads, and directors to schedule, track and complete team goals.
- We proactively apply our knowledge and experience to identify and solve problems before they affect our development teams.
- We build an inclusive, engaged, and fun working environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide production support and coordination for the Character Art team.
- Understand team needs and workflows across departments to streamline our project management processes.
- Help manage the flow of assets and information across team members and disciplines.
- Assign, prioritize, and track tasks using our in-house project management tools.
- Prepare clear and actionable production reports and documentation.
- Monitor team goals and timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
- Proactively identify and resolve production challenges before they impact the team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / diploma in a related discipline.
- Proficiency with project management and communication tools (e.g. Excel, JIRA, Confluence).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other team disciplines (code, design, technical art).
- Self-motivated, interested in games and curious about how things work.
- Experience maintaining project plans, schedules, and internal documentation (e.g. wikis or dashboards).
- Adaptable and self-motivated, eager to learn new workflows and tools.
PLUSES
Please note that these are desirable skills and are not required to apply for the position.
- Professional experience in project management, software or video game development, or similar industry.
- Proven successful production experience organizing and tracking large amounts of information.
- Genuine enthusiasm for video games; especially Rockstar titles.
