Rondo Energy's mission is to eliminate 15% of global CO2 emissions in 15 years. 

To accomplish this mission, Rondo is deploying low-cost, zero-carbon Rondo Heat Batteries to accelerate the deployment of renewable energy and to significantly decarbonize industrial processes that are commonly thought of as "difficult-to-decarbonize". Our Heat Batteries charge from intermittent renewables to provide high temperature, continuous heat for customers safely, reliably, at an unprecedented 98% efficiency - and at a cost point that is lower than any other method. 
 

We are looking for an experienced, customer-centric planning professional to join our team and repower industrial heat at scale. This role collaborates across the entire Rondo organization, supporting scheduling and project controls for Rondo’s projects, groups within Rondo, and consolidating all into a unified schedule.

What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to): 

  • Lead the corporate-wide scheduling efforts to roll out Oracle Primavera Cloud software as the project management and scheduling software within Rondo.   
  • Develop strategic schedule templates for established and new business processes in the company including Business Development, Operations and Field Services, Construction, Engineering, etc.  
  • Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera Cloud. Ensure that all activities are integrated and aligned with project goals and timelines. 
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with teams across different divisions to ensure seamless planning and execution of projects. Facilitate communication between departments to resolve any scheduling conflicts. 
  • Project Controls: Implement standard project management metrics and controls to monitor progress, evaluate schedule changes, identify risks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Construction Project Management: Liaise with EPC and other construction contractors, to integrate project schedules and other project management metrics as appropriate.  Review and monitor contractor’s performance of the project.     
  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate supply chain planning to support project requirements with complete integration of both ISBL and OSBL parts and resources management. Optimize resource allocation and manage constraints effectively. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve planning processes and tools. Conduct root cause analysis on deviations from plans and develop corrective actions. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders to obtain approvals for planning tools and schedules. Communicate schedule updates and changes promptly to all relevant parties. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress including highlighting key milestones achieved and upcoming deadlines, analyzing schedule variances and identifying potential risks or delays, and tracking resource utilization and allocation. 

 

What You Will Bring: 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (various disciplines), Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in production planning or scheduling roles. Experience with global project management is preferred. 
  • Certifications: PMP, PMP-SP, MPM, PSP or equivalent certification is highly desirable. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera Cloud, P6, and other project management software. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. 
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and handle complex situations.

  • Experience in large, integrated infrastructure projects 
  • Initial rollout of Primavera Cloud Services          

 

What We Offer:

The estimated annual salary range for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 and it would be eligible for Rondo's excellent benefits listed above plus additional compensation in the form of equity. Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidates' diverse sets of skill levels and experience.
