Senior Manager - Customer Lifecycle & Retention Marketing
About the Role
Roo is looking for an experienced Customer Lifecycle and Retention Marketing manager to lead our efforts related to driving customer engagement and retention through comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies, the management of Roo’s loyalty program, and targeted promotional campaigns.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy to engage each of Roo’s users at every stage of their journey.
- Manage our Lifecycle Marketing Manager who’s focused on streamlining communications to all of Roo’s users
- Plan and execute communications across multiple channels including email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
- Analyze customer behavior and segment audiences to tailor messaging and increase engagement.
- Lead Roo’s loyalty program aimed at increasing retention and engagement among Roo’s most valuable users.
- Identify key metrics to measure the success of the loyalty program and regularly report on its performance.
- Continuously optimize the loyalty program based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
- Create and implement promotional campaigns to incentivize Roo’s users to increase engagement on the platform
- Collaborate with the Product & Growth teams to identify target segments and forecast results for promotional efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Manage a seven-figure budget for lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs, and promotional activities.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment and achieve company-level goals.
Qualifications
- 7+ years working in lifecycle marketing
- Experience with Braze is required
- Experience with Hubspot or another CRM platform is required
- Experience in B2B or marketplace user engagement
- Experience with mobile apps (push notifications)
- Proven track record of user growth and engagement/retention
- Strategic mindset combined with ability to execute effectively
- Analytically driven, with a creative mindset
- Ability to grasp every touch point in the user journey flow
- Ability to relate to our veterinary & hospitals users, having an empathy-based mindset
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, executive multiple activities/projects simultaneously
- Ability to manage and report out topline/executive updates while “rolling the sleeves” working on day-to-day activities

California pay range
$150,000 - $180,000 USD
New York pay range
$150,000 - $180,000 USD
Washington pay range
$135,000 - $160,000 USD
Colorado pay range
$135,000 - $160,000 USD
Texas pay range
$125,000 - $150,000 USD
North Carolina pay range
$120,000 - $145,000 USD
