With a talented team of 600+ Roofsters, our collaborative, can-do culture is what fuels our growth. In 2022, we closed on our Series E, raising $240 million, and have offices in California, Texas, and New York as well as many remote opportunities. Our growth includes recent acquisitions of Stessa (financial and asset management software) Rent Prep (tenant screening and placement service for landlords), and Mynd (property management platform for both Retail and Institutional investors).
About the Role:
As the Product Manager, Retail Growth, you will own the execution of growth initiatives to drive user engagement, activation, and revenue across our retail business lines. You will lead experimental efforts to onboard new users into the product, keep users engaged over time, and improve paid conversion rates. Working at the intersection of product, marketing, engineering, and data, you will have the opportunity to shape the roadmap for critical growth initiatives while delivering impactful business outcomes. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, technical fluency, and relentless execution.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Acquisition: Define and implement strategies to optimize acquisition funnels, increase activation rates and grow revenue
- User Onboarding: Define, implement and optimize the onboarding experience to set users up for long-term success
- Revenue Growth: Develop and execute monetization strategies that drive incremental MRR and ARR through targeted experiments, pricing optimizations, and feature enhancements
- Experimentation: Own the experimentation and growth process to quickly iterate on company goals and learn from results. Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests to identify and scale high-impact growth opportunities across activation, engagement, and revenue stages
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including (Growth) Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Design, to align on growth objectives and deliver cohesive experiences Lead other team members in implementing growth processes across the company
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze key metrics to uncover opportunities, track performance, and inform the development of scalable growth strategies
- Customer Empathy: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand the needs and pain points of retail property owners, translating insights into actionable product decisions
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in growth product management or similar role in a consumer software or SaaS environment
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth in user acquisition and retention through experimentation and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using tools like SQL, Mixpanel, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically while being hands-on in execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the real estate or financial technology sector
- Understanding of subscription-based business models and user lifecycle strategies
- Familiarity with user onboarding, referral systems, and pricing experimentation
Location
This position is classified as REMOTE within the United States, with a preference for candidates located in and open to a HYBRID work environment in New York, NY or Oakland, CA.
Compensation
$125,000 - $155,000 annual base salary. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location.
Pay Transparency
Our compensation reflects several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position represents the expected salary for this position. Ultimately, in determining your pay it will be based on several factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and other job related factors. Roofstock is a total compensation company; the base salary is only part of our total compensation package.
