Job Summary
RPA is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Media Biller to join our dynamic team. As part of the client accounting and finance department, you will manage the full-cycle billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting for a portfolio of high-profile media accounts. Your role is pivotal in supporting our clients, media teams, and financial operations, helping maintain a seamless billing process.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Process and generate client invoices for all media placements, including traditional, digital, print, and out-of-home channels.
- Accurately bill for multiple billing cycles (monthly, quarterly, or project-based) based on client agreements.
- Process reconciliation billing, working closely with the Media Payables and Processing team.
- Prepare and deliver detailed client billing reports and summaries.
- Deliver client billing packages via various methods (email, portal, etc.).
- Collaborate with account managers, planners, and buyers to address billing issues, queries, and discrepancies.
- Maintain and update billing records, databases, and backup documentation for auditing purposes.
- Assist in month-end and ad-hoc reporting activities.
How You’ll Excel In Your Role
- Maintain strong client and account relationships by providing accurate and timely billing updates.
- Work closely with the client accounting and general finance teams on any billing-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in media billing software (e.g., MediaOcean, Prisma, or similar platforms) is a must. MediaOcean and/or Prisma are strongly preferred.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Comfortable with Acrobat Pro to assemble and consolidate a large volume of documents into a finished package.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Pro-active and solution-oriented, resourceful. Must be a self-starter who can collaborate but also work independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and analytical approach.
Pay and Compensation
This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
The semi-monthly salary range for this position is $2,916.67 with an annualized equivalent of $70,000 gross pay a year.
