What You’ll Do
Samsung Semiconductor is seeking an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to lead the operational strategy and execution of facility services across our San Jose HQ and regional U.S. offices. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for site reliability, operational excellence, and employee experience. The ideal candidate brings a mix of strong leadership, deep facilities expertise, and an ability to communicate effectively with executives and front-line teams alike.

- Lead a team of full-time facilities professionals and manage third-party vendors and contractors.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage operational workflows, staffing models, and succession plans.
- Develop and execute a multi-year strategic plan focused on improving site reliability, energy efficiency, automation, and building system resilience.
- Establish preventive maintenance and asset lifecycle strategies to support long-term capital planning.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Real Estate, Security, EHS, Construction, IT, and Manufacturing teams) to align facilities planning with business needs.
- Oversee daily facilities operations including building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), vendor performance, and workplace services
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead response efforts for facility-related emergencies and incidents.
- Develop and manage operating and capital budgets; track expenditures and forecast needs.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising reliability or service quality.
- Support sourcing strategies and contract negotiations for facilities services and equipment.
- Prepare and present executive-level briefings, reports, and dashboards on facilities performance, risk, and opportunities.
- Communicate technical information in a clear and business-relevant manner to leadership.
- Support quarterly business reviews and key leadership meetings with insights and recommendations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field with 15+ years of related experience and professional certifications (e.g., CFM, FMP, LEED, PMP) preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, including corporate offices, labs, or technical spaces.
- 3+ years in a leadership or people management role.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing strategic plans for facility reliability and efficiency.
- Proven ability to navigate between tactical execution and strategic leadership.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS), maintenance protocols, and sustainability practices.
- Experience working in a high-tech or semiconductor environment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in facilities management software, CMMS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training. Base Pay Range
$165,500 - $264,450 USD
