REVENUE OPERATIONS BUSINESS ANALYST
The Business Analyst will increase performance visibility helping the team understand real-time trends and leverage data to drive insight driven decision making. Key responsibilities include compiling weekly bookings, revenue, and capacity forecasts, preparing regular reporting packages (QBR’s, monthly service line reviews, etc), conducting ad hoc data analysis, and delivering market and competitive insights.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in RevOps, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or analyst role supporting cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Technical proficiency in excel, Tableau, Alteryx, SFDC preferred + experience evaluating and implementing technology to improve visibility into business performance to drive insights and recommendations
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to work and a passion for learning and growth
Responsibilities
1. Bookings, Revenue, and Delivery Capacity Forecasting
- Prepare weekly bookings, revenue, and capacity data prior to weekly forecast call
- Analyze forecast data, identifying trends, and preparing insights on a weekly basis
- Monitor delivery capacity for all service lines to help staffing teams make assignments, hiring, and overall capacity decisions. This includes entering assignments in PSA and tracking utilization and other delivery KPI’s.
2. Reporting & Performance Tracking (standard & ongoing)
- Develop and maintain dashboards and other visual tools to communicate key performance indicators and operational metrics for all service lines.
- Ensure reporting consistency and accuracy, providing insights and recommendations based on data trends.
3. Data Analysis & Insights Generation (ad hoc)
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to support business operations and decision-making processes.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover operational efficiencies, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that align with business objectives.
4. Market & Competitive Analysis
- Perform research to monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts that could impact the firm’s strategy.
- Maintain & leverage win/loss, NPS, and other internal/external data sources to inform strategic initiatives.
- Provide insights and reports that support the development of strategies for growth and competitive positioning.
5. Operational Efficiency & Internal Support
- Work closely with RevOps team and SBI leaders to identify and implement process improvements across the firm.
