Business Analyst

The Role  

Corporate Strategy & Transformation at Schonfeld is responsible for delivering the firm’s highest priority strategic initiatives across our Investment, Operating, and Management Company Platforms. Our team collaborates closely with the Firm’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to build alignment and drive change across the organization. Our focus is on developing and executing the firm’s most mission-critical strategic plans. 

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for turning ideas into results. You will develop strategic roadmaps that outline important milestones, requirements, and impact points of large cross-functional projects. This role will be located in our Miami (Wynwood) HQ2. 

What you’ll do  

In this role, you will lead the planning and orchestration of key priorities across the organization. We’re seeking someone to oversee the successful delivery of complex strategic initiatives. You will ensure transparency and alignment between business stakeholders, technology partners, and the firm’s senior leaders. You will work with a range of subject matter experts to define and tackle complex challenges. 

Our team manages a diverse range of cross-functional projects from planning to execution. We connect the firm’s business strategy across the Front, Middle, and Back Office. Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in managing projects within the financial services industry and demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills. This is an exciting opportunity that offers valuable exposure to real-world problems at the intersection of finance and technology.  

What you’ll bring 
 

What you need:  

  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic projects in the financial services industry. 
  • Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills. 
  • Experience in strategic planning, business transformation, or management consulting. 
  • Strong leadership ability with a track record of successfully driving large-scale initiatives.  
  • Data acumen, data storytelling and data literacy. 
  • A keen, analytical eye with a high regard for attention to detail. 

 

We’d love if you had:  

  • Experience with Data Visualizations 
  • Exposure to an OKR (Objective & Key Result) based planning environment.  
  • The ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to build effective solutions. 
  • A commitment to continuous professional growth and team improvement. 
  • Understanding of financial markets and trade lifecycle (OMS, PMS, Trade Settlement/Matching).

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $150,000 and $175,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
