
Junior Front Office Support Engineer
The Role
We are seeking an exceptionally talented individual to join our global Front Office Support and Automation team in New York. The Front Office Support team’s serves as a liaison between the 3rd party trading vendors we use as part of Front Office Trading, our internal teams and the end users of these systems. This team serves as the first point of contact for any production related outages and daily queries with these systems.
What you’ll do
The Front Office Support Engineer will focus on providing first line support for our US based Fundamental Equity and Tactical Trading Portfolio Managers, Traders and Analysts. You will also be responsible for setting up new users and onboarding PMs. A successful candidate will help automate and optimize our processes and run projects we take on to enhance our vendor platforms.
What you’ll bring
What you need:
- Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience, supporting traders and PM’s
- Experience supporting front office vendor trading systems (eg. Portware, Enfusion, Neovest)
- Strong business analysis/project management skills
- Understanding of equity trading lifecycle
- Technical skills including SQL, FIX Protocol and Excel/VBA
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results

- Exposure to APIs
- Python coding/scripting experience
- Experience with Bloomberg terminal

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $100,000 and $125,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
