Business Support Associate to the Chief of Staff

The Role 

We are seeking a qualified individual to support the Chief of Staff for the CTO organization at Schonfeld. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing a diverse workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. You must operate under confidentiality for many aspects of the role. This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain insight into how the department operates and to understand other areas of the business.

What you'll do 

  • Organize, analyze and manage sensitive department data 
  • Analyze and document department workflow and process for standardization and optimization 
  • Coordinate meetings and travel, track follow up items 
  • Take and edit notes 
  • Work closely with Executive Assistants in document collection and preparation, and calendar management
  • Gather information from a variety of sources, including senior management, for PowerPoint presentations for various meetings 
  • Coordinate and plan firmwide department and social events throughout the year 
  • Work with our communications team on department comms, including department announcements, internal content and various internal/external speaking events 
  • Compile and disseminate updates on various projects and team initiatives 
  • Analyze department schedule and interactions with other areas of the firm
  • Plan and prepare for offsites

 What you need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including file permissions

 We'd love if you had: 

  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Experience with Atlassian ecosystem (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Trello)
  • Project management experience across a variety of stakeholders
  • Interest in the financial industry

The base pay for this role is expected to be between $125,000 and $150,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
