
Marketing Associate

The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Marketing, Communications, and Legal teams as well as directly with Science Corporation's CEO to develop marketing strategies and materials for a wide variety of cutting-edge medical devices. The Marketing Associate will contribute to a cross-functional team responsible for launching and marketing products in Europe, the USA, and globally. They will also help expand the reach of our brand and build our network of potential patients, doctors, clinicians, academics, researchers, and partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, relevant technical knowledge in the neurotech field, a creative mindset, and entrepreneurial energy.
Role responsibilities:
- Copywriting – draft marketing materials for Science Corporation's products, including digital, print, and video products. These materials will include targeted emails, website copy, digital ads, print materials for conferences, catalogs, and direct mail.
- Technical Writing – work with the scientists, engineers, and subject matter experts at Science Corporation to ensure technical descriptions and specifications for products are accurate and clearly communicated. Contribute technical writing to applications for regulatory approval, as needed.
- Vendor Management – work closely with paid marketing vendors to manage budgets and optimize impact of paid advertising and lead generation.
- Email and Social Media Management – manage, segment, and grow Science Corporation's email list and social media following.
- Email Campaign Production – build, test, and send HTML emails from a mass email platform.
- Website Production – work closely with designers to build content pages and forms in website CMS, including landing pages for paid marketing.
- Quality Assurance – complete QA checklists on emails, web pages, and forms, including the proper functionality of any action pages or pages with conditional content.
- Data and Analytics – monitor the performance of emails, social media posts, search and web traffic, and paid ads. Draft regular reports and track performance over time.
- Legal Compliance – work closely with the Legal team to ensure legal compliance of materials across multiple countries and jurisdictions.
Key qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong preference for writing in scientific and technical fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, creative writing, or related field and/or five years of equivalent experience
- Proven experience in marketing and program management with a digital or advertising agency.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, CRM systems, and content management systems.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and responsive design best practices.
- Analytical skills and experience with performance tracking tools like Google Analytics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience marketing medical devices or technical products.
- Experience marketing products in Europe, Australia/New Zealand, or the Middle East.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing.
- Familiarity with editing and updating copy directly in HTML.
Science is required under California law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. We determine your level based on your interview performance and make an offer based on the indicated salary band. The base salary range for this full-time position is $95,000 – $130,000 annually + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of the offer is not included in these numbers.
