About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Director, Advertising Strategy with a deep understanding of digital advertising and extensive experience in the home services sector. This role will be responsible for defining, executing, and optimizing advertising strategies to drive revenue and performance for private-equity-backed home service companies. The successful candidate will bring thought leadership and an innovative approach to digital advertising in industries such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, pest control, and roofing in addition to hosting and conducting planning, strategy, and collaboration meetings with clients.

What Your Success Will Look Like
- Strategic Oversight: Lead the overall advertising strategy and execution, ensuring alignment with business goals for private equity-backed home services companies.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal account management teams to plan, execute, and monitor client advertising campaigns, while working closely with Product Development for feature requests, pilot programs, and experimentation.
- Execution: Manage an advertising book of business in partnership with the account management teams.
- Expertise: Drive success in digital channels, leveraging high acumen in search advertising (Google Search, PMAX), Google Local Services Ads (LSAs), and social advertising on platforms like Meta.
- Client Leadership: Conduct and lead client meetings, focusing on advertising strategy, campaign performance, and actionable insights.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert, staying at the forefront of digital advertising trends and innovation in the home services market.
Who You Are And What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in the digital advertising industry
- Account Management background is a plus
- Campaign Management: Proven experience managing and optimizing Google Search and PMAX advertising campaigns.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to build relationships across teams and with clients.
- Client Acumen: Demonstrate a high level of competency engaging and interacting with clients over web meetings, via email, or in-person
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google productivity apps, ensuring efficient workflow and reporting capabilities.

Compensation
We acknowledge that states have passed legislation promoting pay transparency. As a national employer, Scorpion has made the decision to post our expected pay rate or pay range (as applicable) in all our job postings, regardless of geographic location.
- The base salary range is $120,000 (entry-level) - $140,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
