Job Title: Associate Brand Marketing Manager
Location: This role is based in Mississauga, ON with an expectation to be in office 3 days per week.
The Marketing function at SharkNinja is directly accountable for achieving a high rate of sale on all products, focusing on sell-in and sell-through of the portfolio, both new products and base business. SharkNinja Marketers have a general manager mindset and the ability to collaborate and operate across functional boundaries.
As an Associate Marketing Manager for Ninja, you will be a brand steward helping to lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, assist with go-to-market strategies and drive consistent voice and messaging across all marketing channels (e.g. Packaging, Advertising, PR, Social & Digital, collateral, trade etc.)
Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:
Global strategy localization: Assist in the development of Ninja brand strategies that align to overall business goals and objectives. Work cross functionally to define product pricing and placement strategy.
Be the category expert: understand positioning, competitive landscape and market / consumer needs.
Comms & Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Product Development, Creative Services and Marketing Services (media, PR, retail marketing) teams to develop and execute brand building communication strategies and go-to-market plans including, PR, collateral and social / digital.
Collaborate with Program Management, Product Development, Brand Marketing and Creative teams on the localization and translation of all marketing materials for our Canadian SKUs. This includes: Packaging, User Guides, Stickers, Shipping Boxes, Online Product Pages, Digital Content and more.
Retailer Sell-in: Communicate product value proposition to the sales team and partner with SS&A to deliver a compelling sell story.
Post-Launch Evaluation: Conduct post evaluation and analysis of activities and performance, recommending improvements and evolutions of future brand marketing and commercial initiatives. Support development and implementation of best practices and proven success drivers across all consumer and customer touchpoints.
Creative Development: Develop creative briefs for consumer and retailer facing messaging, manage creative reviews and ensure execution delivers on the right consumer insights and product benefits.

• Strong communication skills and ability to make effective presentations to all levels of management
• Ability to connect the dots and think at a holistic and strategic level across the business
• Project Management and ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix.
• Influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem solving.
• Ability to synthesize complex product features into compelling and desirable consumer benefits
• Comfortable working at a fast, iterative pace, and possess a “progress vs. perfection” mindset.
• Biased towards action, taking initiative, and rolling up your sleeves and get it done together.
• Comfortable influencing without authority and building cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mine, analyze data and draw compelling conclusions.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for product commercialization, brand planning, messaging, and communications
• Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing campaigns and innovation programs
• Experience in creative / media development and execution and new product launches
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or equivalent experience
• Reading and writing in French would be considered an asset
