Position Overview
We’re seeking a Director, Media Analytics – Americas to lead media measurement, performance analysis, and insight generation across the Americas region. This role is both strategic and hands-on: the Director will initially own analyses and reporting themselves while also shaping the longer-term vision for a regional team.
This role will join a growing Global Marketing Analytics Team, transforming data into clear actions that optimize marketing performance and guide media, social, and creative strategies. The ideal candidate will thrive in SharkNinja’s fast-moving culture — balancing rigor with pragmatism, and using data not only to measure performance but to influence decisions and spark the next opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Regional Leadership: Serve as the media analytics lead for the Americas, developing strategy while also executing hands-on analytics work.
- Team Development: Shape the future Americas media analytics team by identifying needs, mentoring talent, and influencing future headcount plans.
- Cross-Channel Analytics: Lead measurement across all media types (digital, social, retail, traditional), integrating data into a holistic performance view.
- Signal Detection: Proactively identify signals, anomalies, or emerging patterns in media and market data to flag risks or opportunities before they escalate.
- Macro Analysis: Assess how media investment contributes not just to channel-level optimization but to overall business efficiency and growth.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, and Finance leaders to provide actionable insights that shape investment decisions.
- Testing & Measurement Roadmaps: Drive the Americas test-and-learn agenda, including MMM, attribution, incrementality, and rapid experimentation.
- Insight Communication: Deliver compelling, concise narratives that influence executives and accelerate decision-making.
Attributes & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing/media analytics, with proven leadership responsibility.
- Deep expertise in media measurement across both digital and traditional channels.
- Strong experience leading analytics in a consumer-driven business, preferably CPG or retail.
- 2+ years’ experience applying advanced data visualization, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Ability to both do the work and set the vision for building a regional team.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and executive presence.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where speed-to-insight is critical.
Work Environment
This is a primarily on-site role based in Needham, MA (HQ), with flexibility to work from home 1–2 days per week.
