Role Summary

The Analyst, Retail Excellence is a hands-on analytics role supporting the development, automation, and maintenance of reporting pipelines, dashboards, and data infrastructure across SharkNinja’s Retail Excellence and Trade Merchandising teams. This person will help turn manual, time-intensive processes into scalable, repeatable systems—working closely with team leadership to translate raw data into insights that inform decision-making.

This role also serves as a key contributor to SharkNinja’s Airtable platform—supporting the build-out, maintenance, and governance of the bases, automations, and integrations that teams across the organization rely on daily. The right candidate is analytically curious, detail-oriented, and motivated by the opportunity to learn and grow inside a fast-moving, systems-driven team.

Mission

Support the analytics and data infrastructure that powers Retail Excellence—contributing to automated reporting, platform maintenance, and data-driven insights that help teams across the Americas operate faster and smarter.

Why This Role Exists

SharkNinja’s Retail Excellence function has proven the value of embedding analytics and automation into daily operations. What began as a co-op initiative has grown into a capability that multiple teams now depend on—Airtable automations replacing legacy Excel trackers, Power BI dashboards informing weekly business reviews, and Python-powered pipelines reducing hours of manual reporting. This role formalizes that capability into a dedicated, full-time position to continue building out the analytics ecosystem and support the team’s expanding platform needs as SharkNinja scales across the Americas.

Key Outcomes (First 12 Months)

• Support the transition of recurring reports (SKU performance, OVOT, retailer dates) onto automated pipelines

• Assist in building and maintaining the Snowflake-to-Airtable data pipeline to improve data accuracy across bases

• Take over day-to-day production of the Weekly Business Analysis Report, transitioning it in-house from Mosaic

• Help build and maintain Power BI dashboards for Bottom 5/20 SKU tracking and stakeholder distribution

• Support deployment of the Event Expense Automation App (Streamlit + Python) for Concur-to-Airtable processing

• Contribute to Airtable platform governance—user group maintenance, access requests, and base documentation

• Help expand SKU analysis coverage across additional retailers for broader performance visibility

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in translating raw retail data (POS, sell-through, inventory, retailer scorecards) into structured summaries for leadership review

• Support the expansion of SKU and category analysis across retailers to improve performance visibility

Airtable Platform & Systems

• Support the administration and maintenance of SharkNinja’s Airtable environment across Retail Excellence, Trade Merchandising, and adjacent teams

• Help build and maintain automations, interfaces, and integrations that replace legacy Excel and SmartSheet workflows

• Assist with Airtable access and license management—processing user group requests, maintaining permission tiers, and tracking license utilization

• Help deploy accountability automations (e.g., daily nudges for missing entries, review checkbox workflows) to support data hygiene

• Coordinate with Simple Stack (integration agency) on Snowflake-to-Airtable data pipeline tasks as directed

• Maintain documentation of base architecture, automation logic, and governance protocols

Automation & Tool Development

• Help build and maintain the Event Expense Automation App (Streamlit + Python)—supporting Concur PDF scanning and Airtable data pushes

• Assist in developing automation workflows using Power Automate, Python, and Airtable scripting to reduce manual data entry

• Identify opportunities to automate recurring manual processes and flag them for team prioritization

• Leverage AI tools (Claude, Copilot) to support development work and expand personal productivity

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

• 0–2 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data operations (co-op, internship, and academic project experience welcomed)

• Working knowledge of Python (pandas, basic scripting) and SQL

• Familiarity with Power BI or equivalent BI/visualization tools

• Familiarity with Airtable (base navigation, basic automations, data entry)

• Exposure to building or maintaining reporting workflows and data pipelines

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large, messy datasets

• Good communication skills—able to summarize findings clearly for non-technical audiences

Preferred

• Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses
