Electrical Engineer I
Needham, MA — Onsite, 5 days/week

About the Role
We're looking for an Electrical Engineer I to support embedded electronic design across the full product development lifecycle — from concept through production. You'll work hands-on with hardware and firmware, partnering with global cross-functional teams to bring reliable, high-quality consumer products to market.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop consumer electronic products from concept through production
- Develop electrical specifications aligned to product and customer requirements
- Review and develop schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, and test plans
- Build and execute electrical test plans to verify design functionality and performance
- Support prototype bring-up and hardware verification during development builds
- Troubleshoot electrical issues through testing, analysis, and root cause investigation
- Run circuit analysis and simulation to support design and debug
- Contribute to design reviews, driving improvements in performance and reliability
- Partner with product development, quality, safety, and compliance teams to meet program objectives
- Coordinate with global engineering teams to hit hardware milestones
- Support compliance/certification testing, including EMI/EMC and electrical safety issue resolution
- Build cost estimates from EBOMs and evaluate feature-to-cost tradeoffs
What You'll Bring
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- 0–2 years of embedded hardware development experience
- Foundational circuit design skills: component selection, design, and analysis
- Exposure to embedded firmware for microcontrollers (design, testing, debugging) and Arduino prototyping
- Experience with schematic capture, BOM generation, and PCB layout for prototypes
- Comfort working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Nice to Have
- MS in Electrical Engineering
- Internship or co-op experience in embedded circuit design
- SPICE simulation experience
- C programming for embedded firmware
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range
$74,100 - $108,000 USD
