Associate Product Manager

Bucharest

Location Qualifications: This role is available for hybrid work (2 days in office) from our office in Bucharest.

 

About the position

As an Associate Product Manager at Showpad, your primary focus will be on contributing to one of our use cases within the Revenue Enablement domain. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to play a key part in the success and evolution of our product offerings.

Your mission is to deeply understand the needs of our customers and their user base, translating these insights into a prioritized product roadmap. By doing so, you contribute significantly to our product vision and the effective execution of our product strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market and delivery teams to deliver best-in-class product solutions in alignment with customer needs and company vision.
  • Be or become an expert on the domain, the market, and the trends.
  • Manage one or several epics on the Use Case’s roadmap through scoping, refinement and delivery alongside a more senior Product Manager.
  • Build trust with stakeholders by maintaining an understandable, accurate roadmap.
  • Use data to drive product decisions throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Be part of one development team as product owner, prioritising stories from an epic into the team’s sprint, ruthlessly maintaining scope and protecting your team’s focus while providing your team with the context to build a successful iteration on an existing feature
  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process.
  • Develop new opportunities. With your finger on the pulse of the market, customers, competitors, and engineering teams, you are uniquely positioned to discover and develop new opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or the management team.

Required Skills

  • Education: Bachelor/Master's degree providing a solid base in business and/or technology, or equivalent through experience.
  • Experience:
  • A first product management experience in a digital product company, ideally in a B2B SaaS company or at least 2 years of related experience
  • Skills:
  • The ability to manage and conduct market, customer & user research as bases for identifying and prioritization of product opportunities.
  • The ability to analyze data efficiently and use it to validate assumptions.
  • The ability to make your case (document & present) and generate buy-in from your team and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and adjust as needed.
  • A solid understanding of backend engineering concepts and the ability to translate business needs into clear and effective technical requirements for the development team.
