This role:
Simtra, a premier Sterile Fill Injectables Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to support our marketing activities. The person in this position will be responsible for customer (internal) support, content assistance, and data management. This role reports directly to the Sr. Marketing Manager.
The responsibilities:
- Marketing Support – 50%
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team(s) to create and update sales materials, including but not limited to brochures, presentations, and promotional materials
- Apply graphic design and copywriting skills to ensure all sales materials accurately represent company brand and effectively communicate service features and benefits, and company information
- Coordinate Adprom review of marketing materials
- Maintain and manage Simtra Marketing Asset Library
- Content development and support of the Bloomington facility’s communications needs
- Inform and train other departmental employees on corporate narrative and internal brand (i.e., Brand Ambassador)
- Marketing Operations – 50%
- Vendor set up & payment management, which includes uploading invoices and ensuring proper processing of invoices
- Marketing budget management – ensure that spend is on track and accounted for quarterly basis
- Manage payment of smaller vendors via department’s PCard
- Coordinate all corporate merchandise (swag) orders and shipping
- Support all corporate signage printing
- Marketing team travel coordinator
- Event support for employee activations or townhall meetings
- Prepare reports, track project ROI
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- 1-3 years marketing experience
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understands content creation principles, including composition, typography, and color theory
- Strong communications (oral and written)
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated
