We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental, Safety, Health & Fire Safety Manager (EHS Manager) to lead all safety, environmental, and fire prevention efforts across our facility in West Lafayette, Indiana. You will ensure full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and NFPA regulations, oversee permitting and inspections, and promote a proactive, safety-first culture throughout our organization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS & Fire Safety programs aligned with U.S. standards (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI).
- Review and approve fire protection system designs, permit applications, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project safety compliance.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation for EHS-related scopes.
- Serve as the main liaison with regulatory agencies, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous compliance with workplace safety, environmental protection, and hygiene standards.
- Maintain required certifications in EHS and fire prevention disciplines
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS management, including 1 year focused on fire protection, permitting, or design review in U.S. industrial/commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and local fire codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing EHS systems and coordinating with Authorities/AHJ.
- Knowledge of HAZMAT, Emergency Response Planning (ERP), and spill containment practices
- Authorized to work in the US
- 10–20% travel may be required.
