Senior Clinical Product Manager
Role
As a Senior Clinical Product Manager for full-stack web applications, you will play a pivotal role in the strategy, development, and enhancement of SmarterDx's application ecosystem (both customer-facing and internal). Your role involves deeply understanding both users and existing architecture and collaborating across teams (design, engineering, data science, client success, etc.) to maximize the velocity of solving important user problems.
You will use your clinical expertise to bridge the gap between clinical data and product development, ultimately ensuring that our products are accurately representing and improving workflows for clients’ clinical teams.

This role is fully remote within the US.
What you'll do:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on clinical workflows, guidelines, and best practices.
- Gain a deep understanding of the SmarterDx user and buyer market.
- Identify high priorities based on clinical user needs and value.
- Design solutions that use data visualization and workflow to guide users (ultimately converting theoretical AI predictions into real-world value).
- Collaborate with Design, Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales to imagine, gut-check, test, and execute future initiatives.
- Understand and work around constraints (e.g. architecture, data availability, security, etc.).
- Define and report on active progress towards priorities.
- Write and standardize product and technical documentation and role-model strong project management practices.
What you bring:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of residency training
- 2+ years of product management experience for a B2B product in healthcare, especially involving systems that protect PHI or healthcare data.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, medical guidelines, and healthcare technology.
- Experience building data products and using data/data visualization to drive user behavior.
- Experience working directly with customers.
Nice to haves:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare technology company or startup environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and EMR/EHR systems.
- QA experience is a plus.
Compensation
$200-250k base + equity
