Principal Product Marketing Manager - Media

About the Role
In this role, you will act in an individual contributor capacity to own the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies to accelerate adoption of Smartly’s solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Marketing, to deliver compelling messaging and ensure customers realize the full value of Smartly’s Media suite.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy

- Develop and execute GTM strategies to launch and scale creative solutions in partnership with Product Managers and Commercial teams.
- Create compelling messaging and positioning for Smartly Media suite, collaborating with Sales Enablement to train commercial teams effectively.
Customer and Market Insights

- Represent advertiser needs, analyze the ad ecosystem, and track competitive trends to inform product decisions and GTM plans.
- Conduct research through client feedback, product adoption data, competitive analysis, and market trends to identify opportunities.
Execution and Impact

- Develop clear success metrics and analyze the results of strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Communicate new product features to internal teams, ensuring alignment and readiness for releases.
Strategic Partnership and Collaboration

- Act as a liaison between Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure consistent messaging and strategic alignment across customer touchpoints.
- Provide insights from market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to influence product development and roadmap prioritization.
Impact Measurement

- Measure marketing initiatives and product adoption strategies, iterating based on performance insights.
- Identify and address barriers to product adoption with targeted campaigns, incentives, or tools to increase usage.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, ideally in advertising technology, with a focus on media or social advertising.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with a proven ability to create differentiated messaging and narratives.
- Strong analytical and project management skills to prioritize opportunities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful GTM strategies with measurable results.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with execution, seamlessly navigating between big-picture thinking and detailed work.
