Creative Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager with proven experience managing the entire project life cycle of multi-channel advertising creative production. Can you own the timelines, scopes, scheduling, resourcing, and documentation of digital campaigns on a global scale? Can you work independently to help our Creative Services team turn their creative strategies into fully developed digital ad campaigns?
We are looking for an experienced Creative Project Manager who can handle the everyday tasks involved in creating content for digital channels. You will be working under the Head of Creative Production (EMEA/APAC) who is based in Berlin. Aside from project management, you’ll cooperate with clients and team members to align with goals, resolve scope and budget issues, general project problem solving, and ensure we deliver great work to our clients. You’ll also work closely with cross-functional team members to propose solutions for clients’ anticipated needs and you’ll maintain transparency across internal communication channels to guarantee the success of all creative projects.
As a Creative Project Manager at Smartly, you will …
- Join Smartly's Global Creative Services (GCS) team that creates and runs digital advertising on behalf of top global advertisers.
- Work with brands to project manage the creative content for their performance advertising campaigns.
- Manage the complete project timeline: brief intake, pricing / scoping, establishing timelines and expectations, routing and digesting feedback.
- Utilize project management software (monday.com & adweave) to keep track of projects and ensure project transparency throughout the organization
- Work in the Smartly tool and Google software to organize deliverables and work alongside the creative and technical teams at smartly implementing creative automation
- Manage the output of a global team of creative delivery experts and ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Improve workflows to help the team work more efficiently.
- Keep constant communication with the customer about deadlines, deliverables and feedback rounds.
- Keep the Head of Production informed on key project updates throughout the lifecycle of creative deliveries
- Be accountable for the financial health of the projects.
- Provide product feedback on the usability of the creative functionalities in the Smartly.io platform.
We're definitely looking for you, if you have...
- 5+ years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager within a studio team at an ad agency, digital agency, in-house team of an online advertiser, or an AdTech company
- Experience in aiding the development and execution of multiple complex projects and meeting tight deadlines
- Knowledge of digital media advertising, particularly social media, including all ad formats and placements
- Experience in communicating with customers about the status of the projects, sending reports and handling the feedback loop
- Cross-functional mindset and experience in working with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with project management software like monday.com is a huge plus
- Have flawless written and verbal communication skills
- Are able to negotiate and able to deliver difficult news to clients and all other stakeholders
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Great attention to detail
- Highly organized and a self starter
- Multitask and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Good team player and must come with a positive working attitude
