You’re intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and eager to build a long-term career in retail. You have a passion for understanding how great product meets great strategy — from inventory management and merchandising principles to the full retail lifecycle. As an Allocation Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our collections reach the right stores at the right time, maximizing both impact and performance.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to analyze sales trends, monitor deliveries, and execute allocation strategies that drive results. You think critically, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Above all, you see this role as the first step in an exciting journey — one that can grow into Planning, Buying, and other strategic functions across our global fashion network.

Internal:
- Direct Supervisor: Planning Manager, Sandro
- Department Head: Sr. Director, Planning, Allocation, + Partners
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Execute allocation strategies to optimize stock distribution and meet sales targets.
- Analyze sales trends to understand demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly
- Monitor and assess stock levels to ensure optimal inventory availability and minimize stockouts or overstock situations. Execute inter-store consolidations throughout the season.
- Track and report on performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of allocation strategies and make data driven decisions.
- Conduct reporting and analysis to provide actionable insights into stock performance and sales patterns to drive results
- Collaborate with cross functional & global teams to ensure alignment and coordination across departments.
- Improve and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle ad hoc analysis to address specific business needs and support decision making.
- Support new store openings by managing inventory allocation and setup.
Principal Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- 1-2 years of experience in allocation/inventory management, sales/data analysis, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Analytical Thinking & Problem-solving: Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and create informed solutions.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy and thoroughness in managing data and reporting.
- Advanced Excel & Data Reporting: Proficient in Excel for analysis, reporting, and generating actionable insights.
- Organizational Skills & Composure: Efficient in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Efficiency and Initiative: Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on proactive problem-solving.
- BA/BS Degree

NYC COMPENSATION RANGE
$70,000 - $72,000 USD
