Your Future Team

Solaris is strengthening its Compliance function, as our business activities are expanding in Germany and across the EU countries. At Solaris, we take Compliance very seriously and we see it as a fundamental contribution to our success. At the next possible date, we are looking for a (Senior) Compliance Specialist (m/f/div) who is keen to support us in setting up and managing the compliance controls framework for Solaris and its international expansion.

Your Role 

  • Support of the Compliance Officer and the Compliance Team in advising the organization and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as improving and developing Compliance processes
  • Perform control and monitoring activities for the Compliance function and supporting the implementation of mitigation measures
  • Prepare and conduct Compliance trainings for employees
  • Support in preparation of risk analysis and Management Board reporting
  • Monitoring of changes in laws and regulations and enforcement of implementation together with the responsible departments
  • Work closely with the departments Legal, Information Security, Internal Audit and Risk Management to assess, maintain and update Compliance rules, procedures and controls
  • Work closely with the departments Customer Support and Complaints Management to advise and perform controls on customer protection and complaints handling.

  • +3 years of relevant experience in the area of Compliance in a bank, financial institution, FinTech company or a well-known audit/consultancy firm with focus on financial services - ideally with experience in Regulatory Compliance (Compliance function in the sense of MaRisk)
  • Strong profile with training as a bank clerk or a job-specific further education or comparable qualification with professional Compliance experience will also be considered
  • Very good experience with MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Project Management and related tools (preferably Jira)
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
