The position will be focused on the EU region and based in our Paris office reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, Brand 360 International.

Role Overview

As a Senior Designer focused on the EU region, you will support the Senior Creative Manager, International Brand 360 in the regional design adaptations and execution of print, digital and video assets for various Sol de Janeiro and retailer channels across EU region and markets. You will execute deliverables from design development to completion within a given deadline and ensuring global guidelines and toolkits are always respected. This role will collaborate closely with the EU regional teams based in Paris and the global creative team based in New York.

This individual must be a strong self-starter with a multi-disciplinary portfolio showing experience in commercial design executions across multiple retail partners, including but not limited to Sephora, Nocibe, Notino, etc. This person is eager to contribute to big-picture thinking but is currently an executional master who finds satisfaction in executing work to thehighest caliber.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Under the leadership of the International Design Director and Senior Creative Manager, Brand 360, this role will work on successfully adapting global campaign and evergreen assets to produce regional-specific print and digital output that meets International Marketing and business objectives.
  • Execute and deliver 360 digital assets (animated and static) for e-commerce websites, social media content, paid media, email campaigns, and email templates. Ensure assets satisfy marketing objectives, highlight product efficacy, brand-DNA, and storytelling.
  • Produce digital sketches, mood boards, and storyboards, including mocks and comps, as required for regionally-led creative.
  • Work on editing and adapting global digital and video assets to deliver co-media campaigns with key retailers and national media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with teammates while overseeing all details of the 360 digital campaign in partnership with cross-functional partners within creative and with regional marketing counterparts. Ensure brand design standards are upheld and that the style guide is adhered to.
  • Intake feedback from creative and marketing partners and execute with best-in-class creative solutions.
  • Organize and formalize the delivery of completed work to deliver to clients/retailers and vendors.
  • Partner with project management teams to ensure work is delivered according to market needs.
  • Organize designs clearly and efficiently for routing and presentation purposes for both internal and external partners.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS/BFA degree in Graphic Design or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience working in relevant fields, beauty experience is a plus.
  • Software requirements: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects)
  • Knowledge and strong foundation of animation and video editing is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of the digital world–experience in e-comm, paid media, and social media.
  • Master graphic technician: knowledge and solid understanding of typography, color, resolution, size accuracy, and print & digital production techniques
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely – the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback that is necessary to improve creativity.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thoughtful, empathetic, and positive attitude with an infectious personal drive that energizes others.
  • A proactive, self-starter work ethic with the ability to operate independently within a small team.
  • Must be highly collaborative with the ability to understand the objectives of all cross-functional partners and work toward solutions that meet that need and uphold the creative integrity of the brand.
  • Required Language Proficiency: English fluency is a must
