The Assistant Manager, New Product Launch Project Management, supports the successful execution of product development and commercialization from concept through ready to ship. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to track timelines, manage key deliverables, and identify potential risks, ensuring projects remain aligned with business objectives.
This role will report to the Director, Project Management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed project timelines for multiple new product launches from concept to shipment, ensuring milestones are met.
- Manage individual product launch projects, timelines, and deliverables to achieve launch goals.
- Work closely with product development, packaging, process engineering, contract manufacturers, and supply chain teams to establish and adjust development timelines, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate weekly cross-functional meetings, providing project updates and guiding teams through next steps.
- Support cross-functional alignment among packaging, regulatory, process engineering, production planning, product development, and marketing teams to achieve project milestones on schedule.
- Track project impacts on costs of goods (COGs) and assist in identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Monitor and proactively identify development risks, suggesting appropriate action plans to mitigate potential delays.
- Contribute to a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement culture within the project management team.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably within new product development in the beauty industry.
- Strong knowledge of the new product development process, with an understanding of task dependencies from concept to launch.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence team members at different levels of the organization, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to navigate unexpected challenges, remaining solution-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
- Strong organizational, planning, and execution skills, with attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and other project management tools is a plus.

Salary Range
$80,000 - $90,000 USD
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
