Cloud Solution Specialist and Trainer

Position Overview:

SonicWall is seeking a Cloud & Endpoint Security Solution Specialist and Trainer to lead technical training initiatives focused on our cloud security and endpoint security solutions. This role requires a cybersecurity expert who is not only skilled in facilitating training but also serves as a technical advisor to the content development team. This individual will ensure that our training programs are technically accurate, engaging, and aligned with SonicWall’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery & Facilitation:
   •   Conduct live and virtual training sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers on SonicWall’s cloud and endpoint security solutions.
   •   Develop hands-on labs, demonstrations, and real-world scenarios to enhance technical learning.
   •   Adapt training methodologies to various audience levels, from beginner to advanced cybersecurity professionals.

Technical Expertise & Content Development Support:
   •   Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in cloud security, endpoint security, and MSS, guiding the instructional design team in developing technical training content.
   •   Provide technical validation for training materials, ensuring alignment with SonicWall product capabilities and industry best practices.
   •   Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to stay updated on product roadmaps, new releases, and feature enhancements.
   •   Contribute to the development of certification programs by defining technical skill requirements and assessment criteria.

Partner & Customer Enablement:
   •   Engage with SonicWall partners and customers to assess their training needs and customize content accordingly.
   •   Support enablement initiatives by participating in partner boot camps, webinars, and technical workshops.
   •   Provide feedback from training sessions to influence future product development and training enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience:
   •   5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cloud security and/or endpoint security.
   •   Experience in technical training, enablement, or curriculum development in a cybersecurity or IT-related field.
   •   Hands-on expertise with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
   •   Familiarity with endpoint solutions, firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), zero trust security models, and secure access service edge (SASE) is a plus.
   •   Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
   •   Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, AWS Security, Microsoft Security, or similar are preferred.
