Position Overview

SonicWall is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to manage a team of technical facilitators and content developers for our Sales Enablement organization. This role will be responsible for driving the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of high-impact enablement programs tailored to empower our global salesforce and partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, instructional design expertise, and technical acumen to ensure that enablement initiatives align with SonicWall’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical facilitators and instructional designers to deliver world-class enablement programs.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and goals.
  • Manage resource allocation and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines across multiple initiatives.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide ongoing feedback to drive professional growth.

Sales Enablement Strategy

  • Partner with sales leadership, product marketing, and other cross-functional teams to identify enablement needs and priorities.
  • Develop a unified strategy for content development and facilitation that supports SonicWall’s sales objectives and partner ecosystem.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance onboarding, technical training, and ongoing education for the global salesforce.

Content Development

  • Oversee the creation of sales and technical enablement materials, including training modules, playbooks, certification programs, and customer-facing resources.
  • Ensure all content is engaging, scalable, and aligned with SonicWall’s messaging, products, and solutions.
  • Leverage data and feedback to continuously refine and improve enablement content.

Facilitation & Delivery

  • Manage and support the delivery of live and virtual enablement sessions, ensuring technical facilitators are equipped to provide impactful training experiences.
  • Promote best practices in adult learning and instructional delivery to enhance knowledge retention and application.
  • Incorporate innovative learning technologies and methodologies to improve learner engagement.

Metrics & Reporting

  • Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of enablement programs, reporting outcomes to key stakeholders.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize the content creation and facilitation processes.
  • Monitor feedback from sales and partner teams to continuously improve enablement initiatives.

Qualifications Required

  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, learning & development, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams, including technical facilitators and instructional designers.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and technical training strategies.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop enablement strategies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across a global organization.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of SonicWall products, network security solutions, or related technology industries.
  • Familiarity with enablement tools such as LMS platforms, content management systems, and video production tools.
  • Certification in instructional design or related fields (e.g., CPLP, ATD).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a related field; master’s degree a plus.
