Role
We’re looking for a Product Marketing Specialist for SonicWall. You will play a critical and highly visible role in bringing SonicWall’s Network/Cloud and Access Security product offerings to market and ensuring its ongoing success in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and executing the go-to-market strategy, drive product launches and meet business objectives in line with our global market.
Marketing and Business Development
- Develop messaging and positioning for products and services in Network / Cloud Security
- Analyze market size and competitor information.
- Manage the Network Security portfolio launch cycle and create collateral to support product launch and sales enablement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement go-to-market plans.
- Produce product, industry and thought leadership content through blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, videos, web pages and more
- Lead cross-functional teams to successfully launch products, create collaterals, and drive growth.
Sales and Partner Support & Enablement
- Communicate the value proposition of the Network / Cloud Security product portfolio to the various channels within SonicWall.
- Develop the sales tools and training that support the selling process of our service to various teams including Sales and Partners
- Acquire deep customer/partner knowledge through market research, persona, segmentation analysis, customer interviews and internal business metrics.
- Develop competitive information.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product marketing experience for a B2B firm for a technical product or customer-facing security expertise
- Strong AI tool understanding and ability to leverage for workflow
- You have a BS in marketing or engineering, or the English field
- You are a strong communicator and work well with different stakeholders
- You enjoy writing and speaking, and do it well
- You have a technical background and can write for both engineering and business audiences
- You want to be part of something big and learn as much as you can in the process
Desired Qualifications:
- Cybersecurity industry experience
- Channel experience
- Network security experience
- Both HW and SW experience
- You are a strong storyteller
- You’re passionate about exploring new technologies especially with AI
- You’ve had professional experience in product management, marketing or another strategic role
