Creator Platform Strategy & Planning Manager

Game creators, publishers, developers and creator-enablers are a vital part of PlayStation’s ecosystem, and understanding and addressing their needs, priorities, and points of friction are vital to keeping PlayStation as the Best Place to Publish. Our teams within Global Partner Development & Relations department serve our publisher and developer partners that make games, media services, and eSports for the PlayStation platform.

As Creator Platform Strategy & Planning Manager, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify business requirements, quantify business opportunities, help shape product strategy, and develop strategic roadmaps for PlayStation’s current and future partner integration initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Establish and align business requirements, develop business opportunities sizing and partner platform integration strategy with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Synthesize partner insights from surveys, consumer insights, market trends, and BI data.
  • Inform and support defining product roadmap and feature requirements.
  • Manage on-going partner feedback loop for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate to ensure efficient feedback process.
  • Set Objectives, Key Results and KPIs for integration success.
  • Track performance metrics, such as usage and feature adoption.
  • Manage progress of partner integration programs.
  • Support Senior Leadership with strategic initiatives.

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience working in product management, strategy or business planning.
  • Experience developing and executing end-to-end global product and partner go-to-market strategies and roadmaps.
  • Proven track record in managing and supporting partner platform integrations.
  • Experience running multiple cross-functional programs simultaneously, adapting and balancing needs according to business priority.
  • Motivated, organized self-starter with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Pro-active communicator, with strong presentation and communication skills, and high standards of work output.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with games development and publishing partners and/or knowledge of the gaming industry (awareness of industry trends, challenges, and business models such as Games as a Service, or Free to Play hugely beneficial).

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$138,200 - $207,400 USD
