In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to studio leaders, managers, and employees, helping us maintain our culture while meeting the dynamic needs of a creative studio. You’ll work closely with our HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and PlayStation Studios HR team to deliver top-notch support. We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, curious, great at building relationships, and always ready to jump into action. Your Mission:

  • Build Relationships: Foster a positive studio vibe by communicating and interpreting HR policies effectively.
  • Onboarding Mastery: Make new hires feel right at home and excited to start their journey with us!
  • Support Employees: Be the go-to person for employees with questions, providing quick and helpful responses.
  • Culture Champion: Partner with studio leaders to nurture an amazing workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with COEs: Coordinate training, learning, and development programs tailored for our team.
  • First Point of Contact: Handle employment processes, workflow management, and employee relations intake.
  • Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews, sharing key insights to enhance the employee experience.
  • Policy Guru: Analyze and recommend updates to policies, ensuring they align with our business goals.
  • Data Whisperer: Manage employee records and documentation with precision.
  • Recruiting Sidekick: Assist with recruiting activities as needed—because teamwork makes the dream work!

What Powers You’ll Need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced, creative, or tech-savvy environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong grasp of federal and California employment laws and regulations.
  • Confidentiality: You know how to handle sensitive information like it’s the final boss level.
  • Communication Pro: Comfortable engaging with people across all levels of the organization.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: You can think outside the box when it comes to solving challenges.
  • Relationship Builder: Able to forge meaningful connections with employees and leadership at SMS and Sony Interactive Entertainment.
  • Organizational Ninja: Skilled at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Tech-Savvy: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • HR Systems: Experience with Workday or similar platforms.

Power-Ups to Help You Shine:

  • Certification: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus!
  • Industry Background: Experience in games or entertainment would be a game-changer.
  • DE&I Initiatives: Hands-on experience with Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion programs.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$92,400 - $138,600 USD
