Senior Program Manager, Portfolio
San Diego, CA
We are seeking an experienced program manager with proficiency in portfolio management to manage the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) team’s workstreams and activities. In this role, you will drive critical objectives and outcomes essential for enhancing portfolio management capabilities and maturity on a global scale. As Portfolio Sr. Program Manager, you will partner with teams and leaders in PMO, product management, engineering, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Organize the SPM team’s activities into manageable workstreams and projects with clearly defined objectives, owners, and timelines.
- Understand key alignment and interdependencies across workstreams within the SPM and its activities to track and monitor progress effectively.
- Drive objectives and outcomes for SPM, and identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
- Create a single source-of-truth and visibility for the SPM team’s workstreams and projects, and track and report on progress.
- Support portfolio management processes and procedures, including intake, prioritization, change requests, governance, and reporting.
- Continuously develop and implement process improvements for the SPM team to operate efficiently and communicate effectively.
- Create and maintain documentation of portfolio management processes and procedures.
- Build and maintain SPM team’s standards, processes, and templates.
- Some travel may be required, as well as in-office collaboration in line with our hybrid working policy.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years proven experience in program management in a similar or related field.
- Expertise in program management, including modern tools and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of portfolio management.
- Highly organized, dedicated, team player that takes initiative and can influence outcomes autonomously in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of successfully communicating with all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$149,900 - $224,900 USD
