Role Overview:

Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for a Senior Analyst, Insights to provide parental cover within the team supporting the PlayStation Store. This role is integral to understanding customer behaviour, driving data-informed decision-making, and supporting experimentation across the Store platform. The successful candidate will bring analytical expertise, curiosity, and strong stakeholder communication skills to help optimize and evolve one of the world’s largest digital gaming storefronts.

Please note this is a 12 month FTC.

What you'll be doing:

This is a visible role, working closely with multiple teams to generate actionable insights that shape player experiences and business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis of store experimentation, providing robust insights into performance and customer impact.
  • Prioritize experimentation opportunities and developments in partnership with product and business teams.
  • Deliver expert, data-driven advice to non-technical stakeholders to influence decision-making.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for the PlayStation Store business as needed.
  • Identify and communicate shifts in user behaviour, helping the business anticipate and respond effectively.
  • Present insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner to stakeholders at multiple levels.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Experience with BI tools (Domo or similar) to create dashboards and data visualizations.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical curiosity and the ability to think outside the box to generate understanding.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver insights in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with attention to detail, accuracy, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
