Job Type & Duration: Full-time Internship, 4 Months from May 2026 to August 2026
Compensation: Paid Internship, $17.75/hour
Work Arrangement: At least four (4) days a week in office requirement, 9AM to 5PM, up to 37.5 hours a week
The Creative Services team is responsible for designing and developing a wide range of materials to support our artists’ brands around the world. We are looking for an exceptional intern to join the team on a short-term basis. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to observe and assist in the day-to-day activities of the team, including, but not limited to:
The Role
- Collaborate with the Creative Services team to conceptualize and ideate short-form content for domestic and international repertoire, websites, and social media content.
- Filming short-form content with mirrorless cameras. Including responsibilities for audio capture, lighting rigs and on set requirements.
- Editing short-form content, repurposing and editing existing content and social media assets.
- Converting, organizing and backing up footage and other files.
- Attending and assisting with artist focused events.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to enhance creative processes and outcomes.
- Other ad hoc duties as per department needs.
Ideal Candidate
- Completed a post-secondary or training program focused on video production, film, motion design and related fields.
- A well-rounded portfolio showcasing creative projects: including short and long-form video productions, motion design, advertisements, interviews, documentary, music videos etc.
- Experience with manual settings and operation of mirrorless and similar digital video cameras.
- Proficiency with Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, handbrake and similar software.
- Technical knowledge of video formats, frame rates, codecs and specs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Professionalism and interpersonal skills in situations with artists and other talent.
- Proactive attitude, attention to detail, organized and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the Canadian music landscape including record labels and independent artists.
