As Staff Accountant you will be part of the Finance team within our Berlin headquarters. In this interface role focusing on our EU-based entities you will collaborate with other teams on accounting matters/projects and act as a proactive business partner for stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for following processes for our EU entities: 
    • Processing of Accounts Payables, including travel & entertainment expense and credit card statements
    • Handling cash management 
    • Processing Fixed Asset entries
    • Supporting General Ledger bookkeeping and reconciliations
  • You will work with our tax team on VAT compliance and reporting
  • You will assist the Finance team with recurring tasks, process improvements and special projects 

Experience and Background:

  • 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Tax and/or Audit
  • You feel joy when dealing with numbers
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • You have experience working with ERP systems (preferably Oracle Fusion)
  • You are eager to learn, curious about the latest technical developments and not afraid to apply them to your day-to-day tasks
  • You are precise and organized in your work
  • You show a high degree of conscientiousness, reliability and commitment
  • Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken
