Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Los Angeles, CA – Onsite

Employment Type: Temporary Contract 

Rate: $19-20 per hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack and ship daily orders
• Replenish picking locations as needed
• Cycle count inventory
• Pallet assembly with products to ship
• Loading small and large parcels and pallets
• Maintain neat and orderly workspace
• Sort, count and palletize incoming freight
• Work independently with a sense of urgency and purpose
• Make decisions based on quantity of work and required finishing time to meet shipment deadlines
• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor

Key Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of previous work experience, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment
• High School Diploma required
• Experience with all carriers UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Stamps.com
• Experience with pick and pack items to ship domestically and internationally with carrier’s standards
• Experience using ERP systems and following best practice to ensure inventory is tracked correctly
• Experience with warehouse equipment including hand truck, pallet jack.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written
• Ability to follow instructions
• Detail oriented
• Must be a team player
• Stand, bend, stoop, and lift for 8-hour shift
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Maximum unassisted lift 50 lbs., average lift, less than 20 lbs.
• Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor, scanner and calculator
• Requires the ability to communicate verbally
• Requires use of warehouse equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, sit down forklift and reach truck
• Work overtime as required
