Repair Technician

SprintRay is looking for a Repair Technician (Temp) – Tier 1 to drive efforts to enhance the reliability of our products. This position will support root cause analysis and repairs to SprintRay hardware products. Candidate needs to demonstrate their ability to troubleshoot at the component level and collaborate with R&D and Quality Control to produce failure mode analysis reports on the findings. Candidate must have competency with tools and diagnostic instruments, systems thinking, quality methodologies and component level troubleshooting while possessing a great attitude and enjoys working with others in a growth environment.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products to meet the established standards of quality, including usability and reliability.
  • Conduct packaging verification checks for completeness and accuracy
  • Follow guidelines to package the products being shipped to customers.
  • Disassemble and assemble the incoming 3D printers and associated products for repair.
  • Repair the products as per standard operation procedures
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization in workshop area

 

Key Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma required, advanced degree preferred
  • 2+ years experience as a repair technician
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Hands-on experience with 3D printers
  • Communication and computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skill
