M&A Business Development Director Position Summary 

The M&A Business Development Director is responsible for supporting the growth strategy within his/her respective territory by way of expanding the footprint of the Managing Director in their field.

As a member of the Business Development team the Director will contribute to the success of the entire team and is expected to work with both peers and the Head of Sales to achieve annual goals and sustain long term sales growth.

This person will deeply understand our customers’ needs, effectively work with their territory team to cultivate relationships, determine how the company can best deliver extraordinary value and effectively communicate our value propositions.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for growing and nurturing the company brand to ensure SRS Acquiom has an ongoing and widespread reputation for exceptional quality and integrity.

This position can be located in Denver, CO or can be fully remote.

The salary range for this position is between $145,000k - $160,000k + 30% bonus, depending on level of experience.

M&A Business Development Director Primary Responsibilities 

In an environment where the company is at an inflection point with both solid historic business and new products and services that have huge upside potential, the Director will achieve significant revenue growth with their ability to:

  • Support & innovate the sales strategy and implementation within his/her respective territory.

  • Drive territory growth in sales of all SRSA products.

  • Manage outreach efforts to educate the territory on SRSA’s offerings

  • Develop and implement a sales plan for his/her region and territory that identifies the highest priority targets and strategies to build the franchise.

  • Contribute to and implement a sales plan for his/her region and territory that identifies the highest priority targets and strategies to drive revenue growth and establish brand awareness

  • Ability to lead SRSA presentations in front of large client groups and entire law firm offices.

  • Collaborate closely with the Relationship Manager and Relationship Associate teams and their managers to ensure we are delivering an industry-leading client experience.

  • Establish and reinforce a collaborative team culture within the BD team as well as the entire organization.

  • Develop deep relationships with new clients, partners, and influencers while strengthening existing relationships.

  • Optimize pricing to maximize revenue in line with business and profitability objectives.

  • Ability to lead SRSA presentations in front of small groups.

  • Identify and prioritize potential new clients and determine optimal sales channels and methods (cold calling, mass marketing, direct sales, etc) for various segments of the market.

  • Hit and surpass established sales goals and budgets

  • Other duties as assigned

 M&A Business Development Director Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development, ideally in professional services, financial services, or relevant industry.

  • Proven track record of strong sales results that regularly exceed quotas.

  • Executive presence is imperative; the individual must have the poise and credibility necessary to establish relationships with C-level management.

  • High energy and passion for the job.

  • Experienced contributor to all facets of the company.

M&A Business Development Director Physical Requirements/Special Demands:

  • Must be available to work standard business hours, and occasional nights/weekends.
     
  • Travel may be necessary, up to 15% of year, and may not be scheduled in advance.
