Denver, Colorado, United States

About SRS Acquiom

SRS Acquiom has built its reputation on shaking up the financial services technology world by redefining how complex M&A and loan agency transactions get done. Since 2007, we’ve been the partner dealmakers rely on for speed, precision, and less friction -supporting over 10,000 deals worth more than $1.7 trillion along the way.

Our solutions start with human expertise and are powered by technology: virtual data rooms, document solicitation, escrow and payment administration, shareholder representation, and independent loan‑agency services like administrative and collateral agent support. Each service works seamlessly on its own, but when brought together by our expert team, they form an end‑to‑end system that helps even the most complex deals cross the finish line.

We’re equally committed to building careers as we are to building solutions. At SRS Acquiom, internal mobility isn’t just a buzzword, it’s part of how we grow. We invest in our people, creating opportunities to learn, stretch, and step into new roles as the business evolves.

If you’re looking for a company with entrepreneurial energy, a proven record of growth and innovation, and a culture that supports your next career move, we’d love to talk.

Position Summary

SRS Acquiom (SRSA) is looking for a Payments Analyst to join our high-performing Operations team and help power the distribution engine behind complex M&A deals. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, data-heavy environment, where ambiguity is the norm and thinking critically is non-negotiable.

You’ll be at the center of managing payment workflows—tracking everything from shareholder documentation and compliance. The work blends heads-down processing with heads-up decision-making, and you’ll regularly navigate a space where “it depends” is a frequent starting point.

This hands-on hybrid position is based in Denver, with the expectation of at least ONE onsite day per week and reports to the Payments Manager.

The salary range for this position is between $65k and $75k, depending on level of experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interpret capitalization tables and complex allocation spreadsheets, writing data import instructions

  • Create and maintain accurate payment records based on legal deal docs

  • Solicit and review sensitive shareholder documentation (e.g. tax forms)

  • Process return payments to stakeholders and troubleshoot returns, stop-checks, and exceptions

  • Reconcile each individual deal prior to payment or when any change occurs after the deal begins funding

  • Research daily reconcilement differences and prepare final reconcilement reports for each of our paying bank accounts and our collection accounts.
  • Flag and resolve discrepancies in incoming records, sometimes with limited context

  • Collaborate with the team to meet client demands while working to improve systems, templates, and the overall client experience

  • Communicate clearly—whether documenting case notes or explaining decisions to a colleague

  • Create payment files to meet daily payments deadline

  • Maintain and support a flexible schedule based on the speed of the deal and the needs of the client, this may include evening or weekend hours where needed

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in operations, financial services, or other documentation-heavy roles

  • Comfort working with large volumes of data and handling sensitive information

  • High attention to detail (yes, we said it again - it really does matter here)

  • Strong written communication skills, especially for stakeholder correspondence and internal handoffs

  • Self-motivation: you’ll be busy, and you’ll need to manage your time accordingly

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency

  • Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Adobe, and document workflows a plus

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • You’re comfortable working in the gray. You ask smart questions before taking action, and sometimes after, too. You can handle a high-volume workload without shutting down or cutting corners. You play well with others, but you know how to get things done on your own. If you’ve worked in banking, finance, or a customer-facing role before, great - but we care more about how you think than where you’ve been.

Desired Characteristics

  • Positive attitude
  • Collaborative
  • Operates with highest integrity and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

Physical Requirements/Special Demands

  • Must be available to work standard business hours, and an occasional night/weekend, should they come up.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
