JOB TITLE & DESCRIPTION:
LOCATION OF WORK & TRAVEL:
Oak Ridge, TN, with occasional travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support day-to-day operational activities, including project coordination, and process optimization.
- Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for operational initiatives.
- Coordinate with the New York, NY team to ensure operational consistency and efficiency (occasional travel).
- Attend operational meetings and industry events to represent Standard Nuclear’s operational goals (travel required).
- Maintain accurate documentation, including workflows, reports, and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and administrative teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Monitor compliance with safety and regulatory standards relevant to nuclear energy operations.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to operations leadership as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in operations, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel, project management software, or ERP systems.
- Willingness to travel to events and the New York, NY office (approximately 10% travel).
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with the energy or nuclear industry is a plus but not required.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
