The Role  

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role sits within the Business Operations team, which is responsible for driving high impact, cross functional initiatives that support StarRez’s long-term growth and operational excellence.

The Business Operations team owns the execution of value creation projects, business optimization initiatives, mergers and acquisitions integrations, and business systems programs. The team also facilitates the Global Leadership Program and leads emerging AI initiatives across StarRez. As a Project Manager, you will directly support this portfolio of work by managing multiple global projects each fiscal year and partnering closely with internal teams, leaders, and executive stakeholders.

Based in our Denver, Colorado office, you will play a key role in driving operational clarity, execution discipline, and consistent project outcomes across regions and time zones. You will manage projects from initiation through close, ensuring timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes are clearly defined, tracked, and communicated. This role is ideal for an early career project manager with hands on experience in project coordination, operations management, and cross functional delivery, who is comfortable working with senior leaders and C-suite executives in a global environment.

  

Role Specifics  

  • Work Location: Denver, Colorado
  • Travel: < 5% (rare exceptions may arise) [The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.] 
  • Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Project Management Office Leader.

What You Will Own  

  • End to end project management from initiation through closing for Business Operations initiatives, which could include some or multiple of the following value creation projects, business optimization efforts, mergers and acquisitions integrations, business systems programs, the Global Leadership Program, and AI initiatives at StarRez
  • Delivery of three to five global projects per fiscal year, ensuring timelines, scope, dependencies, and outcomes are clearly defined and executed
  • Development and maintenance of detailed project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules
  • Cross functional collaboration with teams across operations, product, technology, finance, and people and culture
  • Stakeholder communication including regular status updates, risk tracking, and executive level reporting
  • Identification, documentation, and proactive management of risks, blockers, and interdependencies
  • Facilitation of working sessions, project checkpoints, and decision making forums as needed
  • Creation and maintenance of project documentation including charters, meeting notes, action items, and project closing documentation

  

Required Qualifications  

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management, or operations management
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or managing multiple projects simultaneously across different workstreams
  • Experience working cross functionally with diverse internal teams and stakeholders
  • Exposure to working with international or globally distributed team members
  • Comfort partnering with leaders and senior executives, including presenting updates and navigating shifting priorities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage ambiguity

  

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives such as value creation, operational optimization, systems implementations, or change management efforts
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions integration work, global initiatives, or enterprise-wide programs
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Monday.com or similar platforms
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or software enabled organization
  • Interest in or exposure to AI driven initiatives, automation, or emerging technologies
