About the Role
Steadfast Health is seeking a Market President for Northeast Ohio, a dynamic executive who will lead the strategic and operational growth of this priority region. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Market President will be responsible for overseeing all clinics and facility administrators in the region, ensuring best-in-class patient care, strong operational performance, and deep local engagement.
This is a pivotal role with the opportunity to shape the future of Steadfast’s local and national footprint. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven, community-minded operator with experience leading multi-site, brick-and-mortar healthcare delivery, particularly within substance use disorder treatment and outpatient care.
Note: While this role is technically remote, the Market President must reside in Northeast Ohio and spend significant time in clinics and the community.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Regional Strategy & Market Growth
Serve as the executive lead for the Northeast Ohio market, setting strategic priorities and driving performance across the region.
Own the regional P&L and lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure sustainable growth.
Develop and execute scalable playbooks for new clinic launches, partnering cross-functionally with Real Estate, Business Development, Clinical, and the People and Compliance teams.
Clinic Oversight & Operational Excellence
Directly manage Facility Administrators (FAs), empowering them to run day-to-day operations with excellence.
Ensure clinics deliver high-quality, low-barrier care with integrity, efficiency, and compliance.
Implement systems and processes that support consistency, performance tracking, and rapid learning across sites.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
Hire, coach, and grow a mission-driven team of clinic leaders; model Steadfast’s values and hold others accountable to them.
Champion a collaborative, purpose-driven culture that values both operational discipline and human connection.
Ensure strong onboarding, development, and retention of clinic staff.
Community & Partnership Development
Build and maintain deep relationships with local hospitals, referral partners, community orgs, and advocacy groups.
Represent Steadfast externally with authenticity, professionalism, and a commitment to collaboration.
Partner with internal business development leaders to grow referral pipelines and drive patient access.
Enterprise Leadership
Contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives as a member of the executive team.
Collaborate with peers across markets to share learnings, iterate on playbooks, and continuously raise the bar.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and a future leader of the company as Steadfast grows nationally.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of progressive, operational leadership experience in multi-site, outpatient healthcare services, including exposure to SUD treatment (both OBOT and OTP).
Strong track record of P&L ownership, clinic-level operational leadership, and team development.
Demonstrated success launching, growing, or scaling healthcare delivery models in early-stage or de novo environments.
Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards, especially within SUD treatment.
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to lead in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; natural relationship-builder and team unifier.
Deep ties to or understanding of Northeast Ohio communities, with a passion for advancing health equity in underserved areas.

Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel frequently throughout the Northeast Ohio region (clinic visits, community engagement, team development).
Occasional travel to other markets or national team meetings.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods, including walking and standing during clinic operations.
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer, keyboard, mouse, phone, and printer.
Ability to read and analyze data on screens and in reports, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy in operational and financial oversight.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in meetings, both in-person and virtually, with employees, partners, and stakeholders.
Occasional lifting of office supplies or clinic materials up to 20 pounds.
Ability to participate in virtual meetings with audio components (e.g., Zoom or Teams), and communicate effectively in a variety of settings, including group meetings, one-on-one conversations, and team calls.
