Consultant, Higher Education
As a Software Implementation Consultant, you’ll lead software implementation projects with our higher education (and K-12) clients across the country. This position will be a part of a team of consultants with a wealth of higher education finance leadership experience. In this role you will:
- Lead multidimensional software implementation projects and develop valuable client relationships.
- Collaborate with client executives to understand client business objectives and design optimal processes and software configurations to fulfill these goals.
- Configure client systems and validate client software user-adoption.
- Train client finance leadership teams on our software and recommended best practices.
- Provide advisory services to help clients best use our software products.
- 3-5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a consulting, or finance-related role with demonstrated success working with clients.
- Hands-on financial experience in a corporate or consulting environment, and involved in higher education budgeting process. This experience may include, but not be limited to:
- Engagement in annual process and workflows
- Analysis of gross revenue and variable expense estimations based on volume drivers.
- Calculating actual to Budget variance analyses, isolating volume, rate, and efficiency components.
- Understanding of project management and systems development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

The preferred location for this role is in Chicago, IL or St. Louis, MO. We value our people spending time together and have campuses hosting in-person events located in both cities. We are truly a hybrid environment with all team members experiencing the flexibility to work from home.
