Position Overview
As a company dedicated to transforming higher education, SIG is currently seeking talented individuals with experience in Ellucian Banner to join our team. If you are a seasoned professional with extensive experience in college or university administration—specifically as a Registrar, Director of Admissions and Records, or a consultant proficient in Ellucian Banner Student California (CALB) module, we’d love to connect with you.
This remote position entails travel, offering an exciting opportunity for those passionate about enhancing higher education systems. Full or part-time scheduling is available.
Responsibilities of the Banner Consultant:
- Provide comprehensive Banner implementation services, including training, functional consulting, and technical support, directly at client sites and remotely from home.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, recommending and implementing technological solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Troubleshoot technical and functional issues within the Banner Student module, ensuring seamless operation for our clients.
Required Qualifications of the Banner Consultant:
- Five or more years of hands-on experience working directly with the Banner Student module.
- Proven expertise in implementing the Banner Student module, transforming and automating business processes within Registrar, Admissions, or Records offices.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with a customer-focused approach.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, self-direction, and adaptability.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Experience with the California Banner Module (CALB)
Preferred Qualifications of the Banner Consultant:
- Experience in developing comprehensive reports supporting various student areas using Banner.
- Proficiency in translating user requirements into technical specifications for our support team.
- A deep understanding of Banner usage across diverse institutional settings.
- Thorough knowledge of relational databases and the ability to read and write SQL queries.
- Demonstrated experience in a consulting role, showcasing the ability to analyze complex issues, provide strategic recommendations, and guide clients through successful implementations.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality consulting services, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, offering expertise and insights to enhance the consulting process.
Pay and Benefits: (full-time)
- The salary range is $90,000 -$125,000 + annual bonus

The listed salary range for this position is indicative and subject to adjustment based on the candidate's unique skills and location. Final compensation will be determined through mutual agreement between the successful candidate and SIG.
