Job Opportunity – Executive Director with Kentucky Guardianship Association (KGA)
Are you a visionary leader with a passion for advocacy and a deep understanding of Guardianship? Do you have the drive to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
The Executive Director will facilitate governance by scheduling and attending meetings of the Board of Trustees, Members, and Subcommittees, and complete administrative tasks as requested by the Board. Additionally, the Executive Director develops and facilitates educational and training programs on guardianship best practices, conducts small training events in county community centers, and plans the KGA’s Annual Conference for State and Private Guardians.
Remote Work Environment
Services may be performed remotely except for the in-person training programs and meetings with communities throughout the Commonwealth to develop awareness of the KGA.
Salary Range - $60k to $90k annually
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven leadership experience in a nonprofit or similar organization
- Strong understanding of guardianship laws and practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and execute training programs to promote best practices in Guardianship awareness
- Experience in financial management (audits and annual reports to the State)
Expectations:
- Foster relationships with stakeholders and community partners
- Oversee communication from the website, marketing, newsletters and social media
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency
- Bachelor’s degree and experience with professional or state guardianship
