Job Opportunity: Internal Quality Control Technician with Fameccanica in West Chester, OH

If you’re passionate about spotting problems early, maintaining high standards, and safeguarding product integrity, this position is ideal for you. As an IQC Technician at Fameccanica, your responsibility is to make sure only top-quality, compliant components are used in production. You act as the primary guardian of quality and work closely with teams throughout Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Supplier Quality.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect incoming parts using visual checks and precision tools.
• Verify supplier documentation including CoCs, material certs, and FAI/CMM data.
• Identify nonconforming material, create NCRs, and ensure containment.
• Apply risk‑based sampling based on part criticality and supplier performance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve issues and improve processes.

What you bring:

• 2+ years in quality inspection or manufacturing.
• Experience using precision measurement tools.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T basics.
• Experience with nonconformance reporting and quality systems.
• Supplier quality or outsourced manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar systems.
• FAI, CMM, ERP/MRP, or QMS experience.

Additional details:

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Standing for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Up to 10% travel may be required.
