Make Ready Tech DeSoto, TX

Location: DeSoto, TX 75115 (In-person)
Type: Full-time (8 hr shift, Mon–Fri; weekends as needed)

Role Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Make Ready Technician to keep our property looking its best and to prepare vacant units for new residents. You’ll ensure curb appeal, clean and safe amenities, and smooth unit turnovers—all while working alongside our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Common Area Upkeep: Clean hallways, entryways, parking lots, and shared spaces
• Amenity & Pool Care: Maintain pools and recreational areas for safety and functionality
• Light Maintenance: Touch-up painting, minor repairs, appliance checks
• Unit Turnovers: Prep vacated apartments—ensure they’re move-in ready
• Property Clean-up: Remove trash/debris, manage dumpster area, assist landscaping
• Team Support: Complete assigned work orders and collaborate with maintenance staff
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all maintenance policies, procedures, and PPE guidelines

Qualifications

• Prior experience in property maintenance, janitorial, porter or similar role (preferred)
• Basic pool-cleaning or pool-maintenance knowledge (a plus)
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
